Car rental without a mandatory credit card.
Almost every big rental company requires a credit card. Mava Rent doesn't: we accept cash, debit cards and prepaid cards such as Postepay or Revolut.
At pick-up you leave a security deposit, which we refund when you return the vehicle. For rentals over €250 you can also pay the rental in 3 interest-free instalments with Klarna.

From pick-up to return, step by step.
Booking
You book online choosing dates, vehicle and pick-up place, and pay a 20% down payment to secure the vehicle. The balance is paid at pick-up, together with the deposit.
Documents and deposit
At our office you show your original driving licence and ID and leave the deposit in cash or by debit card. We check the vehicle together.
Assistance included
24/7 roadside assistance is active for the whole rental: if anything happens, just make a call.
Deposit refund
On return we check the vehicle: if everything is in order the deposit is refunded in full, in cash or to the same debit card used at pick-up.

Can I really rent without a credit card?
Yes. On top of the rental price you leave a security deposit at pick-up, in cash or by debit card (a credit card is fine too, if you have one).
Do you accept prepaid cards like Postepay?
Yes, as long as they have enough funds to cover both the rental and the deposit.
How much is the deposit?
€300 for cars and commercial vehicles, €200 for scooters. It is refunded in full when the vehicle is returned in good condition.
Can I add other drivers?
Yes, up to 3 drivers at no extra cost: tell us when booking or at pick-up, with each driver's licence and ID.
